festiv-ities

The boys played a lovely set of radical mainly indie covers at Thunder in the Rotunda on the weekend. I designed a selection of posters for the crew organising it and from four they chose the most slapped-together one - the tape. When I prefer any of them except for that one! Haha nevermind, it was a nice way to spend a Saturday arvo, and the Spicks and Specks-a-thon back at Pats house was rad. Oooh yeah, go team Myf.

summer to-do list

• learn to make proper cocktails
• plan a dinner party
• make a radical lazy-day mix... I'm thinking Silversun Pickups, The Panics, Feist...
• take Kira for a walk everyday most days
• maintain my blog
• op-shop at least once a week
• learn to sew better
• write.

Speaking of to do lists, the To-Do List blog somewhat cute and quirky. Given that I'm a compulsive list maker (aargh, two posts, two lists), it is obviously appealing. Kind of a cross between Post Secret (mail in your own) and Milk Eggs Vodka (mail in someone's random list that you found).

I'm sleepy. I think I'll get up early tomorrow and take Kira for a walk.
