Either these guys add Adelaide to the list, or I move somewhere else. Back to Copenhagen maybe? Maybe just Melbourne. I NEED this as my homepage. Pretty and practical!

pen lines.

Wow, it's brilliant illustration coupled with Frankie. How wonderful. Natalie is super talented!

These gorgeous dresses have been doing the rounds lately, but honestly... is there anything more divine?

writing, writing.

This is part of what I have been doing lately. If you're an Adelaidian or are contemplating visting, this site should be a pretty good resource for you. The crew is still ironing out a few of the kinks, and there's a lot still to be done, but in the meantime there are some nice articles in the 'culture' section which I am on the writing team for. I'm also helping out with stuff like photos and layout.

Sneak preview of my article for next the issue:

pretty colours.

The sky was changing colours as I left the city tonight. Tangerine, rose, lilac and peach. Even the names sound pretty.

Knitty, knitty by ashleyg.

Girl at work: Oh my goodness Steph, aren't you freezing in that t-shirt? (The t-shirt is our uniform, for the record.)
Me: Um... no? I'm actually kind of hot.
Girl at work: (disbelieving look)
Me: It's really not that cold!

Living in Denmark made me really truly understand what 'cold' was. Fourteen degrees or whatever it was today is not cold. It doesn't mean I don't like winter and snuggling and wearing warm clothes though. If I could knit, I would totally make up a big massive scarf that covered almost my entire body.

Oh my goodness, these sandals are to die for. I can't wait until they hit Australia.

Look what I got in the mail today! I won Amy's give away a little while ago, and what I have received is so lovely and generous, more than I ever imagined!! I'm so excited, they are so beautiful, thank you Amy! I know a prattle on about Amy and her work all the time, but just to stress the point about how wonderful she is you should check her out here, here, here, here and here!! My goodness, she is such a busy beaver! Thankyou!!

box elder.

I've been a bit boring lately... it's not that I haven't been doing anything, more that the stuff I have been doing is either a) Uni related or b) not quite ready yet. I did make this little flyer-esque thing for the band though, and also prettied up a blog for them. If you're in Adelaide you should totally go and see them sometime.
